Renting your grit bins offers maximum flexibility. BGS deliver your Grit Bins to site on commencement. At the end of the term your Grit Bins are removed from site including any excess salt, leaving your site clear and ready to start fresh the following season.

The Grit Bin

rental only service BGS gritting service only supply one size of grit bin capable of holding up to 10 x 25 kg bags of grit salt.
*We do not recommend emptying the bags directly into the bin. (see below)
Keeping salt in the bags gives you the flexibility to easily move the salt around site to areas of need and also keeps the salt in good condition ready for use. If more than 1 grit bin is required we would recommend placing the grit bins strategically around site.

PLEASE NOTE: RENTED BINS ARE NOT INCLUSIVE OF SALT SUPPLY.

* Please note that if salt has been emptied directly into the bin, an additional charge of £25.00 will be made for the removal of the salt on collection at the end of the rental term.

How many Bins will I need?

The number of Bins required will depend entirely on the area to be covered and the rate at which you apply it. However, the Bin Calculator will give you a rough guide - just insert the number of car park spaces on site.
